There are many insecticides to choose from in todays market. Our experience has brought us to find that Permethrin and PBO water based insecticides offer the best all around performance in automatic misting systems for the control of spiders, flies, mosquitoes and other biting and no-see-um insects.
Many key factors can play a part in the effectiveness of an insecticide used in automatic misting systems. One such factor is the use of PBO or Piperonyl Butoxide. PBO is what is commonly referred to as a synergist. Synergists improve knockdown and kill by stopping resistance. They can be mixed with insecticides and are often found fomulated with Permethrin & Pyrethrin. PBO helps overcome resistance that insects develop with constant or over use of a insecticide.
